Marjolein van Beekum (1979)
Started her working career at General Motors after her bachelor degree in Marketing Management from the Haarlem Business School. Firstly as local marketing coordinator for Daewoo Motor Benelux, where she was responsible for all marketing and PR activities for 115 dealers, such as the introduction of new models, developing POS materials and inventing local advertising campaigns. When GM decided the brand Daewoo would no longer exist and would change into Chevrolet, she became one of the project managers for the European re-branding campaign. Her most interesting case so far: Re branding 115 showrooms in 3 days, informing more than 80.000 customers and organizing a live concert with international artists. After gaining experience at a print management agency and traveling for almost one year through Australia, she started working at Yakult as project manager for marketing & communication. Together with the marketing department she organized the BifieneXperience and played a roll in developing and executing the strategic marketing plans for 2009.
Brenda Altorf (1974)
After her studies in The Hague and Breda, she started at Nike EMEA Headquarters in The Netherlands in the Brand Communication department. She was soon asked to work for the Event Marketing department where she organized a diversity of creative sales events, being responsible for the model castings for European campaigns. Event examples: Euro2000 dealer program, distributor meetings, sales events, fashion shows, producing NIKE towns. At Van Eeden Events one of the most interesting cases was the product launch and introduction of iMode for Hi Mobile in The Netherlands. For this a press event, client event and employee event had to be organized simultaneously. At O'Neill Brenda used to work at the Marketing department and played a roll in the production of photo shoots, model casting, developing of POS materials, hang tags, and packaging. Overall being responsible for developing and execution of all visual materials for the surf brand. In 2007 she moved to Curaçao and started working for eFresh.com. As portal manager and later on as VP Marketing & Sales she used to be marketing and sales responsible for the portal(s) during the development, implementation and growing phase of it. Within eFresh she moved into the role of project manager where international business, market research and -expansion and setting up Match Online in the USA were her main goals.
Awareness
